We use your information to provide buddy matching, deliver messages, surface relevant campus events, secure your account, and improve our features. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share Information
Profile details you choose to make visible are shared with other students for the purpose of connection. We share data with service providers who help us run the platform (for example, hosting and email delivery) under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You can review and update your profile at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting our support team. Deleting your account permanently removes your associated data.
6. Children's Privacy
BFF Compass is intended for students aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
